Dunno why guys do the power wire? It makes the truck think it's running at 180* when it's really running at stock temp so it simply stays in open loop.

I'd invest the $8 in a 180* thermostat instead and get the benefits of actually having a cooler running engine and lower engine bay temps...

Good idea. never liked that higher temp.Anyone know why? I have theory.

hammer thats' water temp, Not air temp, that this mod runs off of. The thirty degrees will matter little imo. to the (outside) air temperature under the hood. again imo. So the power wire still has merit .
