Default CB radio

i want to get a CB with PA and just wonder what you guy recommend i want a good inexpensive unit $60-$80 range
also any tips on hook up and antenna mounting

I use a lil wil magnet mount. The cheap radio's aere found at truck stops nowadays. Your gonna need a resistor cuz of the interference. I put mine next too the console pointing up.

Lil Wil is well known for being a good magnet mount. Make sure you get an SWR meter so you can tune your antenna, whatever you get. A Cobra 19 is a well known cheap CB radio. For PA speaker, if you're in the US hit Radio Shack for a 100watt PA speaker

here ya go get one of theese.My dad has been driving semi's for like 40 years and bought one exactly like this like in the 80's.he has it and it still work like brand new.

i just put a " lil wil" on my truck today.. ran the coax in behind the 3rd brake light and then around the window.. came out real clean.

dont really know anything about the cb,s what are they used for, can you talk to anyone that has one in there truck.

is the lil wil only like 6" tall, i alway thought cb antennas had to be like 5 feet tall lol

as far as pa speakers goes there is a company called diesel that makes one that you can pick up at truck stops, its only about 25 bucks and beleive it or not its just as loud and clear as the units on emergency vehicles
