And where did you get the idea of "... Florida, so no rust..." Man, with the humidity here, any unprotected metal will begin to rust in a matter of days.

A lot of people won't buy a vehicle if it's been in Florida. Constant exposure to salt air causes rust.

depends on what you are looking for. If your looking for a project for yourself go for it. IMO I would say save your pennies for a bit a look for something that will give you a little more dependability. That truck could end up being a money pit for you.

If they took that kinda care on the outside, its just as bad engine wise, never changing oil, the transmission fluid is most likely a solid... Look at the CAKED on brake dust on the front wheels. Never washed. That truck was really abused. dont walk, RUN!

i dont have any rust on my truck its very well taken care of.....a few nuts on bolts may have minor surface rust....but thats it....people reallly get the wrong impression of florida....

Yeah my dad's 04 Dodge has never left FL and I can't say there is one rust spot anywhere visible...

It's really only the people who drive their vehicles on the beach and don't wash them after who get all the rust.

the only way i would buy it is for spare parts if i had another 4.7 and i still would only consider paying 1000 for it

My bed behind my passenger rear tire has rust. I might have to save the whole bed by chopping it off. Only up to the bend/body line in the truck.
