Default Powder coat vs????

I am going to trade a friend my chrome clad 20's for his alloy 20's (they are on his '08)

I was wondering which would be best? last longest?

-Powder coating
-dupli color
-plasti dip (with plasti clear coat)
-line-x...is it possible? I did my nerf bars

ANy others?

I had my wheels powder coated on my old F150, I think it turned out to be about 50/wheel. They were only 16's and I had the semi-gloss finish done.. Probably would run you anywhere from 200-300 $.. That's just a guess and takes into consideration that it may cost more for the 20's, but maybe your powder coat shop charges less.. Go get a quote.

Had a guy I shoot with on occasion just have his wheels powdercoated. Place in Orlando charged him $75 per wheel, provided he take them the wheels off the vehicle with the tires removed...

Expensive, but the best solution...

Painted mine about two years ago and never a problem, no chips, peeling or anything like that. It is an easy solution bc it is inexpensive and can be done with the tires on the rims.
