Default New to the forum. Lookin for opinions on the truck.

So i've been frequenting over here for quite a while reading up on tips and helpful things while modding my truck. I always have (and always will be) a minitrucker at heart, BUT i also have a love for big trucks. hence the reason i started building my ram. Figure'd i'd actually sit down and take the time to make an account on here so i can actually get to know some of you guys while i dive into this newfound world lol. ANYWAY, here's a few pics of my truck. Lookin for some opionions. oh and hi..

the reason you see nothin underneith is cause its a 1500, but it is 4wd.
got 8" suspension up front, 5" in the rear + a 3" body lift.
24" wheels and 40" interco m16s

People complain all the time about weak front ends (1500 and their IFS) on this site. I'm not lifted so I can't speak to the fact. How is your front end holding up?

Can I get a girl in bikini in the bed of my truck...forget the truck, just in the bed...lol.

Looks awesome by the way...I only see one thing wrong. Big trucks just don't look right without the tow mirrors. IMO

i'm workin on tryin to get that video. he's editing a bunch of footage from the show (Camp n Drag, in Waveland Indiana. granted its a minitrucker show, which i also am, it's a blast and i'd love to see more big trucks out there next year).

as far as the IFS goes with the 24s and 40s. yeah its a CRAPLOAD more weight than stock and things are going to wear a lot faster but it's holding up just fine for now. im going to replace all the bearings all the way around and keep a close eye on those and any joints/linkages. basically, you can run whatever, just keep up on the preventative measures and expect things to break.

the only reason i say that is b/c that's the life in the custom world. when i roll to shows w/ ppl, there's usually 10-15 trucks (usually minis) and inevitably one is bound to break down.

people don't understand that if you have the money to spend to do major customizing to a ride, then you better have the money to keep it going. it's not stock anymore, and that's just it lol.
