Well the LEDs showed up today and I installed them. Glad I went with the brighter high output ones. I think with only having 5 bulbs in my instruments the normal bulbs would have shown dim spots. Here are some pictures of dash, before and after. Some are blurry, sorry about that. My camera don't take low light pictures well so I had to use a different mode that kept the shutter open longer so any movement by me causes a blurred image. But you can get the idea of how the 2007 looks with 5 blue bulbs. The only complaint is the climate control gauge is bright in the middle but not on the sides, I may just solder some extra leds in to make it all consistent. Next project is to get rid of the rest of the green, in the dash, doors, 4x4 selector and the headlight switch.
Well enjoy the pics. The first two are with the normal bulbs in to compare.

you can use wax paper as a diffuser to help spread the light. or do more leds. thats was my original idea to. make sure you have the proper resistors so you dont burn them up

So I attempted this mod.... And wound up being a little disappointed, I have an 07 quad cab and I found out I have to solder the climate control and Cargo/Head-light bulbs.
I've never soldered before so what do you all recommend? Do I attempt this or is there somewhere I can take it to get it done? And or is there a kit out there anyone recommends?
I attached some photos of the circuit boards and locations of the LEDs any help and or recommendations would be appreciated!

And what do I do about these 3 tiny ones?

I REALLY like the way the blue dash looks, I went with the HD bulbs OklaHemi recommended. One of the bulbs wound up being defective, and I'm currently waiting on a reply from SUPERBRIGHTLEDS, so I just installed one of the regular bulbs for now and wait till the blue film arrives and install both.
Here are some before and after pics

for whatever reason these pictures don't do the Blue LEDs any justice, they are a nice bright dark blue

Definitely DO NOT attempt to solder on a printed circuit board if you are not experience. You will melt or short something out. Take it some place that does electronic repairs and get a estimate or find a buddy who KNOWS what they are doing.

the light switch had to soldered on all models. the hvac only has to be soldered on the trucks with dual climate control. i found this out the hard way. i havent done mine yet because i havent taken time to find out which bulb it is. but it looks very similar to the bulbs in the overhead just smaller.
