Default Brake Controller Placement

Placing the brake controller under the dash, feels cramped around my legs.

Where else would be a good place to mount a controller, keeping it reachable?

I put mine next to e-brake. There is a screw there. Only one but it works. That way there are no holes to be drilled. It is out of the way of your legs.

yep same here by the e brake , like bigtrucker said no new holes there is one and you can reuse that srew for the brake controller mount , easy run to the wire harness also that is up in the back by the fire wall , if you have it pre wired from factory ? and is still reachable in case of an emergency braking situation

Thats the same exact place i put mine. I hate drilling holes into a dash. I put mine next to ebrake with the screw that holds the dash piece on and i really like it. Its out of the way and still easy to reach and use.

Same as above. To the left of the OBD2 port, to the right of the Ebrake pedal. i've wacked my leg on it a couple times jumping into the truck, but that's the exception. It's usually out of the way and my legs don't feel cramped.

on my 2006 that i just bought it is placed to the right of the steering wheel below the gearshift lever on that bottom panel. He used velcro to hold it in place. works fine for me and holds in place just fine
