thanks all for the kind words and complements!...i do agree that there is no loser in this and i do like all the trucks running this month, as each one has their own distinct features and styles. Hammer i hear you on the winch and i have one in the plans. I would have done a winch mounted grill guard, but because mine is an 06 and laramie last i looked for trans4mer it was around $1,200. I will take my cheap girll guard for now and my plan is to have have one hidded behind the bumper using synthetic line so that i can get away with a flush mounted plate on my center black piece on my bumper.

Yep, you want a Hawse fairlead and a soft aluminum at that if you are thinkin' synthetic rope, already seen a few pinch on the rollers and get ruined. Them ropes are too 'spensive to mess up!!!

A few guys I know run synthetic winch rope and use Daystar Rollers and really like them over the hawse fairleads.

what's the advantage of the rollers over the fairleads because personally with how my truck looks i would like the looks of fairlead nice and flush, but if i'm dropping the cash on a winch mise well do it right the first time. I swear my truck is a female at the time of the month at all times. i'm not even joking every single mod i had done on this thing it never goes smoothly or as planned. My flood lights on my grill guard i installed the switch and relay last weekend out of the box the relay was junk.

Rule of thumb is steel rollers with steel cable, aluminum Hawse with synthetic, but the rubber rollers that glass linked to are fine for synthetic but NOT for steel...

If evil would put up some pics and a mod list he may get a few more votes. I'd personally like to see more of evil's truck.

AF thats a sick mod list you pretty much have everything i still want to do on mine done!! I went to put on my drilled and slotted rotors yesterday and planned on painting the calipers, but apparently the shop on base doesn't allow people to paint at all in the shop. looks like i will be using the nieghbors tools to do it outside on the driveway.
