Default Headlight Lenses Repair

My headlight lenses on my wife’s Dodge are real dull & cloudy. I thought about replacing them but now I see that there are some restoration kits available. Has anybody tried anything like this? Does it really work? Here’s a couple I was looking at:

they work. you can do it with a 800 grit or 1000 grit sand paper and water and then polish it with rubbing compound. i saw it on tv last saturday. they even used tooth paste to polish the lens on a budget restoration. lol

Use a good whiting toothpaste and buff with a rag for a few minutes.

As said, they can work but are a PITA in my opinion. The UV layer on them is still gone so they will change back. IMO, the best thing to do is to replace them if you can
