Default I wanna paint my chrome bumpers

Tired of looking at all the chrome on my truck and I would like to paint it all including the bumpers. Any ideas on maybe a DIY project on this or do I need to take it somewhere to have this done??

Thanks

well i just sprayed mine with plasti-dip, to get an idea and see if i liked it, i know its not permanent.

However i once looked into doing color-match. I asked a buddy of mine who works at an auto-body place. you basically have to strip the chrome off then paint it....so it can be done, but its going to cost some money....he told me of a product that you could use, ill have to ask him what it is.

The plasti-dip isn't permanent? But yea if you could get back to me on that other way your buddy was telling you it would be greatly appreciated

Its semi-permanent, you can peel it off if need be....but its some pretty tough stuff.

Just media/sand blast the bumpers and then prime and paint.
