I've got a 2006 RCSB 5.7 4x4 Ram with the big 20" rims and an automatic transmission. I Added an exhaust, SC, and intake, and set it for the performance tune. Today i decided to open it up on the highway ramp. Went through first gear, hit 2nd, and to my amazement the tires barked when it hit 2nd gear. Now i know with a manual transmission this isn't a hard thing to do, but i was actually amazed the hemi, could bark those big 20" rims.
hemi with a stick! i wish my 07 sbrc hemi was a stick got pics?... i kno if you stomp on my truck around 60kms it will chrip.. all i got is a home brew 4 inch intake with a huge knN filter on it and a flowmaster dual exhaust... waiting for the funds for a tuner.
After I loaded the 91 tune from my DSP, I could bark my heavy 35's tires at full throttle and if I wasn't careful could actually break traction between 1st and 2nd gear in wet weather. That was before any mods other than the DSP.
Its all about the shift points too. I have mine on economy mode and it does that. Its the best when u do it while passing sumone. "What the hell? Did that truck do that? Ohhh its a hemi, that makes sense." Lol
