doing the cap and the headlights. i think you would be set man. oh and do the hemi badge too...that would look sick
I saw a thread in another forum where the dude did his own headlights, oven-baked and painted the housing black, including the turn signal and the other amber light, looked sick as hell!! Way nicer than Night Runners. But, man it took that guy over 8 hours to do start to finish. and I dont have that kind of time nor am I even close to competent to do something like that on my own.

I'm gonna look into the Plasti-dip, that seems cheap and easy enough to do. I def think the gas cap needs to change. Thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah doing the lights yourself can be tedious...i tried on my stock ones but was not thrilled with the outcome....

Hey, I saw a past thread where you plasti-dipped a bunch of stuff. Did you apply the plasti-dip to the items while still on the truck? Also, I noticed the stuff comes in aerosol or a can, which one did you use? You got me thinking about this, and I wanna do my gas cap and my steps for sure, but I was wondering if I can leave them on to apply. Thanks!

The aerosol can....i took the steps off to make sure i got even coats....the gas cap i took off as well....but my cover is just a stick on....i will be changing to a new one all together. but it would take you all of an hour to pull the steps off and the cap and the hemi badges and paint them.

Black is the new chrome, but even though mine is ALL black my favorite combo is still a ALL white truck, white handles, mirrors, bumpers, grill surround and everything else BLACK.
