Soooo my friend has a John deere gator and we were driving down a 30 foot wide ditch...It was perfectly dry and then we just sank past the floor board in thick quick sand mud! Went and got my truck and about 20 yards from him the same thing happened to me! I have brand new 35'' nitto mud grapplers and you could only see three to four inches of them and that was completely slick...took my friends bosses blue tech cummins to get us out...and 50 ft of chain:0 just thought i would share

it was dark by the time I had got my truck down there but ill try to get back out there and take pictures of the ruts! I was really wanting pictures to but my Iphone doesnt have flash

 

I sank my truck up to the roof, all you could see was the satellite radio antennae sticking up out of the mud. Took a crane to get me out

I assume you used the antennae to hook the crane to when you pulled it out, right?
