you will need gears if you are towing a 28' trailer with 35" tires. How does your truck pull that trailer now? decent? Seems like a pretty big trailer for a gasser.

My 1998 kept speed better than the 2007. It had 3.90 gears.

I got 10.4 MPG so I did 2.4 MPG better than I did with the 1998.

It pulled fine, but I'm not crazy about the shift points while in TOW/HAUL.

Well, I got the exhaust bend over the rear axle cut off the stock set-up and ready to go on the end of my glasspack. Bought a .020 wire brush for my angle grinder and made the pipe look new again. I'm most likely going to drop the glass pack get it all put together and paint it black with engine block paint. The red sticks out from under neath that blue like a sore thumb...

I thought it was nice to see it in the beginning, now I think it looks dumb.

I'll get pics for this.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the power running boards, and how much did they run you?
