Question Speaker Box

If I wanted to put 2 12's under the back seat of my quad cab, would i also have to raise the seat? Ive been told yes and no and the same answers when googleing. I have the subs, just need a good site for the box and risers if needed.

Shallow mounts i assume? In that case yes or no, some people advise it some don't i personally got two alpine 12 shallows put them in a box off of amazon that is coated with the rhino lining bed stuff and i couldn't be happier and i didnt lift the seat it is all personal opinion. You could always put them in without the lift and then lift it if you want a differnt sound.

fox boxes are about the best you can buy for a 3rd gen and they come with everything you need to raise the seat.

Im sorry to hear that. If you have about 150 bux LMK and we can find you some MUCH better subs brand new.

Foxboxes come with spacers for the seats but they are nothing but pieces of MDF to go under the seats. Guys have been creative in many ways and made their own from lots of materials

Didn't know that they made rear seat risers, interesting. When I got my ram, the previous owner had 2 12's under the rear seat. The box looks professionally made, doesn't sound too bad either.

It also had headrest DVD's, but they are no Dodge brand, just some 9.25" aftermarkets. Got to find a way to get those working as well, my son would enjoy those when he grows up some, he's only 5 months

Does anybody have one of those dual 12" boxes from foxacoustics? How does the sound of that box compare to a MDF constructed box?
