Default Lets see some numbers

Here is a crappy pic of my 2006 mega cab 1500 4x4
it has a 2 inch revtek lift
315/40/26 wheels pretty much 36"s

just trying to see what im looking at for the NJ stability test with height measurements
i plan on lifting soon and ive heard nj is getting very strict

since my truck is over 7500lbs i can go 11 inches but i have know idea what the original height was the inspection station says they measure from ground to bottom of the door

any truck pics lifted or not i need to see ovh(original vehicle heights) of trucks as well i plan on just stopping at dealer or something

the first pic is from ground to tip of driver door 23 1/4"

second half of the pic is ground to the tip of the passenger front fender 43 1/2"

Im following you but what exactly are you wanting or asking? Do you want someone to measure their stock height for you so you can compare?

And you got 315/40/26?? Biotch you had better go get me some more pics of the rig because I want to see them. Some guys dont like trucks with big rims but I do. Ive got 24s and want 26s but no one makes the tires i want in the size i want

First off, you need mudflaps if you need to go through a lifted truck inspection. I believe the lifted inspection is for anything over 4" above factory specs??

Anyways, HERE's a thread where I helped a guy while back cheat the inspection station and get a normal non-lifted inspection. i suggested slapping on temporary teenie tiny wheels/tires.. Do you still have the factory wheels/tires?
Looks like you need to be at 24" or below for a normal inspection(which you are) for the 1500's even though you have a Mega, it's still classified as a 1500 in DMV books.
