I'm pretty sure this can replace my stock 265/70s, but was wondering how many were running this size tire? Also wanted to see some pics of a Ram with this size tire.

Go 285/70's at least... will look much better and not cost thatmuch more.

OK just saw that you have a megacab. Yeah dont get 265/70 too small. Also i would look into going with a 295/70/17, Nitto makes the Terra Grappler in that size you could even do a 305/70/17.

As far as I understand if my stock wheels are 265/70R17 and I didn't make any changes in my truck I can install 285/70R17 without any problem, am I right? What about the rims? OEM are 17x8.5, do I need to buy 17x9 rims for 285/70R17 tires? Thx.

 

Slava, you dont have to change a thing, but one question....do you have a 2wd or 4wd. Also you dont need to change the wheels....im running 315/70/17's on the stock 17' wheel

 

i have 4wd, how this affects tires' size? i thought wider tires could be a problem during turns

 

i was just wondering because if you want to go larger you can add 2 in spacers. I have at least 2 inches clearance in front and behind my tires in the front.

 

I'm curious, does it really looks much better? I mean 285/70R17 vs 265/70R17?
