mickey thompsons baja atz or toyo MT???
so i need some help, i have a 06 1500 with leveling kits. i need some reviews on the 325/50/20 mickey thompson baja atz's. fiet will they fit with a rim with a -24 offset and not rub bad and also how they perform in snow and on ice? im torn between these and Toyo MT's. ive had the toyos b4 and liked them but now im not doin a ton of off road and back country traveling anymore i dont know if i need em. kinda want a better tire on city and hiway roads. sooo any opinions on these tires will help..especially the ATZ'S. thanks
some one seems a little biased^^^^^ lol
I had very mild bfg long trail tour tires (passenger tire) on before my atz's and I cant tell a difference between these and the passenger tires when it comes to road noise. (but my trucks straight piped) i love these tires and are great if you want an all terrain because you said you dont go offroad anymore much
I love the tread pattern on them..

Toyo's will be quieter and IMO look better, but they are more expensive. I would spend the extra money to get toyos because they last longer which will end up being more price smart in the long run. Not to mention Toyos are pretty much the MacDaddy of truck tires.
i run the toyo mt 34's there a good tire and wear real good i love them in the mud but they are heavy as hell i woulnt run them just for driving around town there to heavy they will kill ur gas milage
Ain't no way the ATZs wear out faster than the Toyo MTs. I've got friends with 80k on their ATZs (and they are rated among the quietest A/Ts on the market).
Not saying anything bad about the Toyo M/Ts, they are one of the most respected mud terrain tires on the market, and willl outperform the ATZs hands down in the mud but for street and light trail use, the ATZs are pretty tough to beat.

Yeah i just checked back in and realized i was thinking it was their mud tire. My brain switch must've been in the off position.
Anyways you're comparing 2 different styles of tire here. If you're on the street most of the time go with the ATZ's, if you're going offroad 50% or more of the time i'd say get the Toyo's.
