Hey can anyone confirm the color of the wires to tap into our interior courtesy lights? Under the left front pillar column. 8 options:
White and pink
Grey and yellow
White and orange and white intertwined
Grey and red
Blue and yellow
Black and white
Thicker black one
white and brown

and I tried to get a pic

See the white or grey plug to the left and under the radio? Thats a two pin harness that is made for the lights that cover the ash tray and cup holders. One is switched 12v and the other is ground. The switched 12v is turned on with the parking and interior lights.

Thanks weed, I'm going to be using that one for my cupholder vled strip that I'm going to have with a hidden push on/off switch, but I want to tap into the overhead courtesy lights (maps and dome) for the footwells.

opps. Im following you now. IDK you wanted the wire for the overhead lights.

See that yellow with the blue stripe? That should be your wire and should be 0 volts with the lights off and 12v+ with the lights on. Get a VOM or test light to always verify first though.

These would be neat mounted on the door panels in an area that shines on the feet well, especially for the back seat.

I did this and tapped into the overhead lights. Works perfect, on my 04 it was yellow w/ blue stripe. Gonna get some small dim ones for the door handles on the inside since no one ever knows how to open the back doors in the dark..
