Hi
I was thinking of getting some roof clearance lights and can not decide on the whether to go with Dodge oem kit or Recon kit Any input would be appreciated. Is one kit easier to install than the other? Does the Recon kit come with a template to drill and align the holes?

Recon does not come with a template, but Ramstart has a template forsale HERE if interested.
I'd prefer smoked clearance lights myself, not sure if Mopar has those, but the biggest thing is price consideration.

 

I bought the mopar oem cablights because I like those factory orange lights and those come with a complete template and a very easy to follow instruction guide...not too sure about recon. All I know is that they don't come with a template.

 

I didn't like the look of the Mopar ones myself, but it's a matter of personal preference. True you only get a template with the Mopar ones, but I installed mine fine without it.

 

I think we have a How To thread on it in the FAQs dont we Hammer?

 

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am leaning to the OEM lights because I am thinking that they might be easier to install and have a template.
