hey i used goo gone to get rid of alot of sticker residue on my box sides when i bough my truck and i used alot of elbow grease and it didnt do anything to the clear coat! so your good to go and try that man, just dont use paint thinner hahaha

Depending what insurance you have, you might want to file a police report for he tuner and sometime home qwners will cover stuff stolen.

Yeah but likely would not be worth the time, deductible or possible increase in premium.

Thats kind of what i thought i dont want my insurance or deductible to go up just over a tuner. If my truck was broken into such as a window smashed or something i would turn it in but ill just let it go. I just wished i could ask SC if someone tried to unlock it if i could get any info on who has it.

And terrace i'll def. have to try goo gone. I called an old friend of mine who details cars on the side and he said highway paint is just a water based paint and it should come off with a little elbow grease and some product. I just gotta get out there and try to get it off.

for water based paints Methyl Hydrate will work and won't harm a clear coat.
