Question Helping a friend out

A buddy called me today and said that one of his customers had a 2002 dodge ram 4.7 in her backyard when he asked her about it she said it belonged to her husband that past away (elderly man) and had about 60000 miles on it. She said she would be willing to sell it the KBB is $7000. My question is do you think it will last much longer? Anyone know about common problems with the 02s? Basically any and all info.

Thanks guys!

"Last much longer"? Why shouldn't it? With proper maintenance, it should be good for another 140K or so. If it has sat for a long time, a complete change of all the fluids may be in order. $7K might be a bit much. What are the details?

I don't know of any reason it shouldn't last for a long time. As stated above you should def check it out. But $7000 is a lot, that seems like off the top of my head that it would be more than the KBB? I'd probably pay 5k for it.

If it was maintained and kept up then there is no reason why it wont last another 60+k or more.
