Crap, did I mess up because I already ordered that kit? Can we not even use the coil spacers?

Matt, I looked at this thread and saw what you mean. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...-pics-cai.html

I made sure not to buy the one that said doesnt work with 06-08 models. Im pretty sure I got the other one. Will I be alright?

thats what Im saying. Only the 1.5" spacer will really work and keep the ride alright. People with the 2" ones also have the UCA/Spring Bucket contact.

unfortunately the 1.5" will leave you over 1" lower in the front still

and actually at the time, the 2.5" leveling spacer said it would work with 06-08. The *will not work with 06-08 models* caption did not appear until after I worked with them on the measurements

yea he only ended up getting the 1.5" level....I cant even tell a difference in a stock truck and his with the 1.5" level. I bet he took out the stock isolator which is 1" so he is probably riding around .5-1" above stock.

Heres mine after the 2.5" level. ALOT more level I think, just has this clunk. I would go with the 2", it will look close to level and you wont have that clunk as often as me. Unless you just do what I said earlier and get the spindles. You might end up doing it anyway and its only $200 more

Ok, dude your truck is so sick! I was just comparing yours and his side by side, and yours looks much better. Money is tight for me so $200 is too much more haha. I think I will stick with the 2" then. How bad is this clunk? What does it sound like and when does it happen? I really appreciate the help

thanks...and yea you will be alright, its kinda annoying but not horrible. The clunk is more of a feel than a sound. When you have a quick drop (like the backside of a speedbump) the UCA cant go down enough and hits.

Heres my 2wd with a level and a body lift, so $400 later...

Thanks man, that looks really good with that body lift. I would be on the highway 99% of the time so I wont be doing any offroading or anything like that.

I am not off road at all either. I know that i wish I would have gotten the spindles in the first place though, thats why Im telling you to do that

The ride quality has suffered quite a bit and I dont know if you can put up with that or not

im in the same situation. i have been going back and forth with this too. right now i am 1.5" higher in the back so i was figuring the daystar 1.5" spacer would be good for me. this is my family vehicle with the kids always in it so i do not want to suffer a worse ride at all. i love the stock feel of the truck and want it to stay that way. also don't you need new shocks with whatever spacer you go with? im assuming you don't need new shocks with the spindle lift. also after my stock tires run out i was planning on running 275/65 with the stock 20s. right now i have 275/60s. if i went with a 3" spindle i think i would need a small lift in the rear like about 1" so what do you do for that?
