I have a pintle-style ball-mount hitch with a 2" ball in it so I can pull ring'd hitch trailers or ball-hitch traliers. I can use the pintle in the closed position to achieve the same results for pulling/yanking someone from the ditch without having to carry an extra attachment around with me.
