Default New Flowmaster Exhaust Installed

Just installed a new flowmaster cat-back exhaust system w/ 50 series muffler. Sounds awesome compared to stock. Installation was not too bad except for removing old muffler. It was pretty rusted and we couldn't get it off even after heating it up with a torch. Ended up just cutting a couple inches in front of it and piecing in a new piece of exhaust pipe.

from the pic it looks like the american thunder seires. i have the same set up but if you want to keep your tips somewhat clean i would suggest you get some mud flaps or youll end up cleaning them every day. i ended up getting new tips anyway. other than that i love the set up. dont know if you have a cai but mine really made the fm sound good

Yep good eye it is the american thunder series. Did you get bigger tips cuz i know these ones were kinda small?

No I don't have a cai. Is it worth getting for the sound?

I like your recon tails too. I was thinking about getting some, how do you like them?

I have the same cat back system, the only regret I have is it leaves the stock resonator alone. I want too eliminate that with straight pipe some day!
i have a cai for ya, pm?

Yeah i got 4in tips cause the 3in was too small plus im not a fan of the rolled tips.
The cai is almost a must with any exhaust system. it just sounds so much better when you get into the throttle a little. a lot of people on here make their own so you could try that out.
I love the recons. especially with the black paint.
