Price for transmisison rebuild
I was quoted $2000 to rebuild my transmission (2003 4x4 with a 4.7).
Does this sound fair?
I dont have the details of what is replace. I was at an appontment when I got the call.

Did you call around town to other shops and get quotes from them? Did you call places that sell remann-ed transmissions and see what their prices are? Also check to see how long everyones warranty periods are
