Default Quietest Performance Exhaust?

This may be a rare request but I want the quietest performance exhaust system out there. I want as much hp gain as possible without the rumble. I like my truck to be more of a sleeper...

Any ideas?

Magnaflow makes a 30" si/do that has a nice mellow sound, however you lean on it and it will be louder than stock/ Full pipes out the rear of the truck will help keep the sound down. 09-10 OEM mufflers are si/do style can probably be found cheap as take off's. I personally like the magnaflow sound and performance. good luck...

Corsa Touring, the original Corsa with the Hemi in my quad cab 05 is great. With kids, I wanted quiet but performance. The fit and finish is outstanding and even when pulling a horse trailer its good. I had waisted money and time trying other cat back exhausts which claim no DRONE but they were awful, especially at about 2200rpm.

Highly recommend Corsa, its worth the money!

I have a Dynomax Superturbo and with the addition of no badges even fellow Ram owners may be curious if you even have a 5.7L, let alone any mods.
Like -VA said you can't also go wrong with Magnaflow for performance. Aim for their long length muffler setup's

What mods do you have or will be going in the future?

Thus far I have done nothing. I am one of those research intensive guys who tests every possible scenario before taking the plunge...

I plan to keep it modest: CAI, exhaust, and programmed.

Just added my homebrew CAI and it is fairly loud without the "hat" on it and stock exhaust. I want quiet exhaust with increased performance as well. I will probably go with a 30" magnaflow single 3" IN/OUT dumped after the axle. You should do the CAI first and see if you like the sound. I may just leave my exhaust alone because it sounds so good at WOT. Still sounds stock when you are not in the gas too!

I've also heard good things about aero, & magnaflow. Either way, getting a long muffler will help keep it quiet.

In retrospect, with as restrictive as the "y" joint is, I wonder if that isn't more of a performance drain than any where else?!! Best of luck, I know I'd like to eventually do headers, "y" pipe & high flow cats, and just for fun factor an electric cut out!
