Default 09 ford 3v V/10 Vers 06 5.7 hemi

My neighbour bought him self a 09 F-250 extended cab 4x4. His truck has a cai, chip,

tuner, blood hound choking on a bone dual ex, 4 in lift with 35 in tires.

Now Ford blue is thinking he can lay a licking on my little hemi.

I drive Thease Ford pigs at work in F-350 F-450 crew cab configurations.

What are the stock h/p and torque ratings for thease two engines?
( 5.7 hemi Ford 3v v/10)

My dodge is a torque monster with a true dual ex, 6sp mn. drag racer its not.

I owned a 04 5.4 3v, the v/10 is the same block with two extra gas sucking cylinders, but

Ford owners ( I used to be one ) really need to brought back to the concept that any one

with a foot can push a automatic.

Depending on gearing. His 35's will kill his power. So assuming you are stock and he has stock gears you would probably win, but your tranny hates being shifted like a race car.

Drag racing for the special olympics.. After 3rd gear, my truck really moves, I have a true dual ex on my truck, othier wise I'm stock, I have a 373 ltd slip, the Ford will have a 373 or 410.

I kept up with a buddies all stock 10' f150 crew cab short bed with my ram with 34's. I was about half a truck length behind him the whole time. That pretty good I would say.

Hemi's are not torque monsters -- far from it. All their power is made in the high rpms.

Agreed, I've always said that in stock form, it's NOT a very good engine for a truck, BUT you can do things to make it VERY torquey...

Throw a 6speed manual behind a hemi, open up the ex and you will find a hemi makes tourqe, a lot more than a hemi automtic.. I agree the a hemi comes to life in higher Rpms, how ever a hemi is not a high reving engine to start with.

A hemi automatic is gonna beat my 6sp man in a drag race, no debate thier

The 3v v10 ford is a gas engine
