Ill be buying pocket flares also, I think they look great

Since your tires are not sticking out much, the OEM power wagon ones might look better but if you ever want to get wider tires/wider rims tires it might pay to go ahead and get the bushwacker OE ones

Mine don't stick out much. Here's a pic if I managed to attach it correctly.

Bushwacker has a few diff ones, however their pocket flares are exactly like mine. The diff is i paid $250 for mine and then had them painted. The Bushwackers usually run around $450 or atleast back when i was looking at them.

FYI, I did find the Power Wagon flares for $300 online. The best I can come up with for the Bushwackers is about $340 on ebay or $400 from most other places.

Question

One more question to you guys. The Power Wagon flares just bolt on. Anything keep them from holding water and rubbing all the paint off my fender along the upper edge?

Looks like Bushwackers bolt on and use some tape on the upper edge. Seems like this way would keep them from filling up with crap and keep them from rubbing the paint as much. Am I right?

ive heard of the fender flares rubbing paint. If you are worried about that, get some 3m tape to seal it or at least some of that foam rubber gasket

The guy working on my truck said they'll definetly rub paint if you don't put the black strips around the edge that came with them. I personally just figured they would fit the contours of the body better.......wasn't aware of having to modify them anymore once they arrived. Good luck

I had bushwacker flairs on my 2nd gen for a short period of time and they literally wore some of the paint off... had a small "groove" all the way around the fender. And that was WITH the black rubber seal installed.
