Question Ram 2500 Fender Flares

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500. Just did the H2 wheel and tire swap and it looks awesome. Will get pics up soon. So the new tires and wheels stick out about 1" past the fenders. I am a little torn between going with Dodge Power Wagon Flares (3/4") or Bushwacker OE Style flares (1.75"). I think I will stay away from the wider pocket style ones that are 2.5".

What do you guys think? Any pics of the Bushwacker OE's on a 3rd gen 2500 with big tires? Not sure if it will look funny with the Bushwacker ones sticking out 3/4" past the tires. Or will it look worse with the smaller Power Wagon ones? Give me your input, Thanks.

I'd go power wagon. Bushwhackers look stupid I think.

Your going to get mixed replies, because everyone has an @sshole.

But if you want my opinion, don't install either of the flairs. From personal experience, flairs do not do anything for keeping dirt/rocks/debris off the side of your truck. They do help with stone chips along the wheel well, though, which is a bonus.

So, if you want to install them, do it solely for looks... and go with the ones YOU think look them best.

Although I am not a flair guy, the power wagon ones don't look too bad to me. There not too overpowering.

Another vote for the Mopar (Power Wagon) flares.

Just a thought, but some States are a little funny about tires wider than the fenders.

I like flares as long as they are done within reason and just looking to cut down on some rock chips down the sides. There are some good pics of the Bushwacker OE Style flares on their install sheet but I really wanted to see them on a real everyday truck with some bigger tires than stock.

Kansas is pretty lenient on vehicle laws, no inspections or anything and no one I know has been pulled over for tires sticking out, well within reason. Mostly just headlight and bumper heights that cause problems here.

So far I think I am leaning towards the PW flares. Really clean looking and don't stick out a ridiculous amount. And amazingly enough I found them on a dealer site cheaper than the Bushwackers.

Thanks for the input, keep it coming and pics are always a plus. Thanks.

WI is one of those states where you can't have the tire wider than the fender so i went with the pocket flares.

Nice truck luckydt, nice color. I think I want to avoid the pocket style flares since I don't have aftermarket wheels with the extra offset. Mine don't stick out quite far enough to need 2.5" extra in my opinion.
