i just got done putting tow hooks on my 2007 ram 1500 . got the tow hooks from the dealer for 126.00 $$ tec wanted 130.00 to 160.00 to install !!! came home got under the truck took 8 bolts off the bumper let it down watch the fog light wires install tow hooks remount bumper less than a hours work ! so easy this caveman can do it (: it takes a 18mm socket by the way

 

I wish I got paid $130-$160 an hour at my job...

 

as a side note, if you have a Cummins you'll need to take out the two bolts on the intercooler and push it up, not out to pull the brackets.

 

only took me 30 min with NO air tools to install

 

At least they make tow hooks for your all trucks.

Too bad they don't work with a sport bumper

 

You can always fab something up, hell even if you gotta install a front receiver hitch and go with a receiver hook or shackle...
