I'm certainly not trying to badmouth KRC. I'm sure they're great for you boys in the south but they aren't very International friendly. I bought it off a guy locally who scored a piston on his 5.7 so he had this removed and is putting in a 6.9L stroker. Kit cost me 2000 and I will be getting a new belt from Paxton for my own piece of mind which is likely going to be around another 100. Frostking I appreciate it I may take you up on that.

I've never really read up on supercharging or throwing a turbo the hemi because the cost and I have a different path for my truck but, are you running stock internals on you truck?? Will this kit and the fact you will be running it on 8lbs of PSI hurt the motor at all or hurt the delicate transmissions we have on these trucks?? Just wondering in case I ever decide to throw a pro charger on mine

The trans will/can take a dump on him if he is putting out more than I believe 400rwhp so it be wise to do some upgrades there. From what I have read, the stock internals minus the heads (springs/push rods) should be fine up to 6-8psi but that would probably be max before issues start appearing. Some of the Turbo guys should know a lot more than I do since I am not a huge fan of FI

According to all the research I've done 8 psi is about peak you'd want to throw at stock internals. As for tranny I WILL likely pop this one before going with a Sharadon or similar tranny. I also have an entire top end build sitting in the garage, it's just impossible to find time to do it all this time of year due to work. I have all the parts for ported heads with a full comp cams upgrade kit for springs, retainers and 6.1 rods. I had never planned on forced induction so I'm going to have to switch to a boost friendly cam but I'm aiming for a build of 450+rwhp once all is said and done.

Whats the redline that your new retainers and springs good for??

Could be the tune but but looking at the dnyo looks like after 4600 rpm you stop making power with that kit.
