I'll have pics as soon as I get it pulled out. yeah there are plates in the rear diff and the clip is broke causing them to slice into the clutch. it also trashed the Posse. Now when I had it at my friends shop to drop it off I was on two hours of sleep after a 15 hour day at work so I may have some of this messed up but I will get the exacts on the 4th of January when we pull it all apart again. I am by no means a transmission guy so I may have some things wrong. I won't know till I talk to my friend Who ownes the transmission shop

Besides, if you have a warranty, why are you even touching anything yourself? I would think your warranty is void if you start to do anything yourself? Might wanna check that out before going to crazy.

The rear diff is isolated from the transmission and a transmission specialist is not going to know exactly how to do diff gears. I just want to make it clear to you since it seems you don't fully understand? Also, the posi unit is part of the carrier. The clutch plates are a part of the posi and is how the posi works. These parts are located inside the carrier and yes, it ends up ruining much of if not all of the internals inside the rear dif including the gears.

My friend ownes a transmission shop so warrenty work will go through him I am just gonna be there to see how everything works. The more I look into it the more I am just gonna stick what was in there back. No different gears. I don't want to shell out 1000 bucks
