That is a very respectable conclusion. The Cummins and the chassis of the 2500/3500 are better suited for heave hauling/towing. Sure the 1500 can tow a lot of weight for a half ton, but a 3/4 ton or 1 ton would be a more ideal tow vehicle.
i hate to admit it, but enough information in this thread and thru my own research leads me to believe i'm better off selling the truck and buying a 25/3500 cummins, by the time i do the things i need to do to my truck to make it reliable on the road i'm better off trading it for a year or 2 older cummins :/

I always like to wait at least a week after i buy a new car to post pictures, order parts, or get too excited because god knows the banks can throw curveballs after the you drive off the lot. But in due time i will take some pictures and post them up. BTW, I really miss my 1500 already, this thing is difficult to park and nowhere near as pimp LOL
haha, it's all good. They may not look as nice from factory, but after a nice set of rims and tires, that 2500 Mega can look just as slick as your old 1500.
