I'm not worried about the oil filter that much and STP filters are made by Champion, it's also not an oversized one like Ford uses the "8A".
Champion makes STP, Bosch, Lee, Champ, Valucraft and Supertech
And I love the STP fuel additives when I'm pulling a load.

I change every 3000 miles with conventional oil or 5000 with blend.

You gotta watch Champion made filters. Yes they make good filters, but they make them to the specs of the company who they are making them for. Big difference going from an STP up to a Mopar and up more to a Royal Purple even though they are all made by Champion...
