Default How To Remove CD PLayer/Radio

Hey,
I just bought a 2006 Dodge Ram Hemi regular cab, 28,000 miles, beautiful truck! Anyway, today my 6 CD disk changer stop working. I have 3 CD's in the changer and they won't come out. The Mode Switch on the player and steering controls won't even reconize the CD player. I don't know how to fix the problem. But it looks I might have to remove the player to get the CD's out. Can anyone tell me how to take the player out? Also, If I buy a replace player does it have to be programmed by Dodge or will it just plug up and work? Any ideas or solutions...Thanks!

You have to remove the screws at the bottom of the console and then pull the console off. If you get a new OEM radio it does not have to get programmed but if you need a new one I would certainly look at something after market
