Other than that, if we want to see the "real" snow we have to go up to Tahoe or somewhere in the Sierra's.
Im down in the Valley south of you guys and this year we got about 8" of snow, but it was mostly melted by the next day. Here in Southern California it has only snowed really well about 3 times in the last 16 years that I have lived here. In the Mid 90's, in 2008, and this year. The snow only lasts a day or two (and then the storm is gone, and it's 65-70* again) but the kids have a lot of fun, and us truck guys hit the trails to see what kind of trouble we can get into. This year we hit the trails while it was still coming down pretty good. There was about 8" of snow on the ground in these pictures. I went out with my good buddy who has an 08 Titan. He had to park it and jump in my truck when his truck lost traction around the half way point of the trail. I took him up to the top of the trail, and back down to his truck at which point it took him about ten minutes of rocking back and fourth in reverse to pull that tank out of the snow! haha.
