I got roughly 10k on my zeons and they still look brand new. I have yet to be dissapointed. Good traction in rain and snow. Smooth riding on the highway. and price can't be touched. I got all four mounted/balanced out the door for $720.

 

Has anybody seen the Michelin AT2 in a 20 that would know how they look?

 

Throw my 2cents in. Have had coopers on all type of vehicles from jeeps to fullsize broncos to 71 monte carlo. have never had any issues w/them mileage or anything else. zeons on my truck right know w/about 25k on them and you can't tell that they're worn. My only thing w/them is they seem to clump up a little in the snow.

 

After more discussion someone suggested i look at the Toyo Open Country AT2 as well so i would like to get your opinions on these as well as the other two now. Please help!!!!

 

Very good tire and if you are looking at the Toyo A/T then you should probably look at the Nitto Terra Grappler as well. Same parent company, almost identical tread pattern and they tend to run a good bit cheaper than their sister Toyo offerings.

LOT of guys on here have the Terra Grapps. I put a set on my Grand Cherokee 4x4 and have been very happy with them. Without a doubt the best wet pavement tire I've ever owned. I was able to find a set in 265/65/17 for $127.50 a tire...

 

I assume you've found P265/65/17 for 127.50?

 

That would be affirmative. For a daily driver SUV I saw no reason to go to an LT tire. Especially when the ply rating and almost 2400 lb. weight rating per tire was more than adequate.

I put five plugs in the set of BFGs that were on the Grand Cherokee when I bought it in two and a half years. I have yet to have to plug a Nitto in almost two years and I go to all the same places with it.

You'll pay more for an LT, obviously. When I bought mine I also considered a slightly taller tire in 265/70/17 in both P and LT flavors. If memory serves the P rated tire was $139 and the LT was $169...
