Can I get some input on the Edge Evolution programmer from any '07 hemi owners? The website says gains of up to 35hp and 65lbs. Do any owners think that this is true by what they felt after programming? Unless you have had your truck put on a dyno and know of definitive gains.

Has anyone ever had both the Evolution and the DSP? If so, in your opinion which is better. Do you think that the DSP is the better buy because of the MDS function. I know that you can't turn off MDS with the evolution. But the evolution markets that they have more of a power gain. I'm torn between the 2 programmers.

There are good reasons why 90% of the guys here and other Ram boards use either Superchips or Diablo.

 

The reasoning for that is because Edge only put out the Evolution for the 2007 hemi model. No other years.

 

So why doesnt everyone with an 07 use Edge then?

Other tuners offer more options and flexibility like x-MSD, trans tunes, custom tuning, ect.

 

Yep, I'd say there is a reason Edge made one for an '07 and never tried a Ram gasser again after that.

IMO the question is Superchips or Diablo, not Edge or Diablo...
