alright- boys here's an opinion question-
I had a dual flowmaster40 on my truck when i bought it, eventually the entire exhaust system was rotted out and i had to replace the entire thing, including manifold gaskets-
i couldnt decide what to replace it with, so the shop just put in brand new stock from the headers back. unfortunetly now iam back to square one. I have a pretty intense cold intake which sounds real good, but i want my louder truck back. suggestions? i dont necessarily want to replace the entire system- since i had to pay for the brand new stock anyway. JUST want to put a louder muffler on it. I'll replace the pipes and everything else as it needs it...
Magnaflow/Flowmaster/Gibson/Cherry Bomb or any other suggestions-????

I think the Aero Turbine 3030 sounds awesome on the 4.7, there should be a couple of clips on You tube to give you an idea. Hard to go wrong with any brand though!

the aero turbine i have heard is pretty kickass- do you know what the sizing would be? considering its a single out stock?

 

I believe it is 3" in and 3" out

 

Borla XR1 sounds awesome on my hemi, and I think it would sound great on a 4.7 as well

 

Pyro has a Cherry Bomb Extreme on his 4.7, do a search, he's got a vid on here, sounds sick. I'd post one of mine, but it's a different sound on a Hemi, plus I have long tube headers, so it would be apples to orangutans...

awesome! alright, i appreciate it- so do you think it would be the same as the aero size? 3" in and 3" out on a stock exhaust? i hate to order these things go through the wait, then lay on my back in the snow to install it, only to find it doesnt fit..

 

I have a cherrybomb extreme single 3 inch in/out on my truck dumped about 6 inches behind the cab and it sounds great. About exhaust size, from the cats it's 2 1/4 inch or so and around the rear axle it goes up to 3 inches.

 

sick. alright, il check into that then. i have a cherrybomb on my F1, but it would be a pain in the *** to try and switch them out- i love the growl in that, but didnt know if for the Ram if it would sound just as nice.
