Default Gap Gaurds

Hey guys so i just put 35x12.50x20's on the truck and it rubs a small amount considering i only have a 2.5 leveling kit i would say its not to bad but anyways i have decieded to install a 3 in body lift and im debating whether or not to order the gap gaurds with it. I had a chevy with a body lift and it look kinda crappy with the big gaps in the body and the frame i know i have read on her that the dodge isnt quite as bad but what im looking for is opinions and some pics of ur trucks that have a 3 in lift and how much the gap shows and if you guys have the gap gaurds and what it looks like with them. Thanks

I put three body lifts on previous trucks I've had. Ordered the gap guards the first time for like $89. Made them out of rubber mat material the next two times for under $25...

I made gap guards for mine out of rubber mat but will be ordering the MOPAR gap guards in a bit. The mat covers the gap but it looks so much cleaner with the OEM fender liners

The fender liners are really nice. I put a set on a buddies '06 Ram. They weren't cheap and the reason I got to install them is the dealer wanted another $180 just to slap them on! I opened my big mouth and ended up doing it for a twelve pack.

I thought about getting them myself, would save me having to set the hose & sprinkler under the truck every time after I go fishin'. Only problem is I can't see any way to install them with my rear air bags without having to hack them up. I ain't paying that kinda money and then have to cut the sh*t out of them to put them on...

Well supposedly if you know someone at a dealer they can get em for $100. Which isnt bad (and not much more than the crappy PA ones).

Hammer, I think with a heat gun and a big spoon, etc you could mold the gap guards to look factory even with bags. I agree if you cant do it, they are way too expensive to cut up though

Rear wheel liners are on ebay for around 100 i think. I had gap guards when I got my BL but never used them. Once I seen them I knew I wouldnt like them and for the cost of them, i would make my own like others said

Will the OEM gap guards still be able to cover the extra 3inch gap from the body lift, or just cover most of the gap?

Thanks guys.. So sounds like the general idea is to just buy the oem ones from a dealer. Any idea on what this would cost. I think i live with a lil gap in between the body if they cost to much.. No to mention i could probably fab something up myself. Thanks agian.

$100 bucks on average. Also find them on ebay for that price shipped.
