Default Cracks in Dash

Years ago Ive replace the dash. At the time the Dealer paid a percentage but their not offering that any longer. What is the best deal finding a replacement?

Both pieces are cracking. The top smaller piece with the defrost vent and speakers and the larger contoured piece. Why do they use this crap plastic? I have an older 89 Buick Reatta that has a plastic dash plate, It's just fine.

Almost everybody I know with a 02' Ram has cracks in there dash including me. The dealer says its not a common problem, YEAH RIGHT!! Join the Club!!

LMC Truck has a molded plastic dash cover that I have been thinking about getting. It is suppose to glue down over the existing dash cover and it is made of molded heat resistant plastic. I have seen pics of them and I couldn't tell it was even on the dash, looks stock. The price is cheap compared to buying a new dash and its also a lot easier than ripping your dash out. If you have a 3rd Gen 02' you would need part 56-7402 then choose your color.

Hope this helps!!

I have an 03 HEMI and both of my dash pieces are doing the same. Dash covers are cheap looking but the ones listed above look good but dont fit an 03???
