Default Halo light kits

Hey all, new here. I'm the proud owner of a 2005 dodge and can't wait to begin adding more things on to him!!
I was wondering if anyone had halo light kits on their trucks and wanted to see if they were more dim then the factory lights and hear any info that y'all might have. Here's a link to the ones I'm thinking about purchasing: http://www.k2motor.com/02-03-04-05-dodge-ram-twin-halo-projector-headlights-led-black-tm.html

Thanks!!

I put these on a few weeks ago and they are great. Heavy duty metal housings and a standard H3 bulb. Very bright. Nice colored halos too..

I dont know about those, they seem fine. I put these on a month ago and really love them if you need a second option.

one thing to remember is that since they are projectors, you cant run HIDs

Thats right. Remember these type projectors are made for halogen bulbs and not HID bulbs.

You can do HID retrofits though with OEM HID projectors.

What do HIDs do? Are they just brighter? What would the advantage be to put on HIDs rather than halos?
Thanks!!

Halos are just a ring that lights up around the headlight bulb. HIDs are actual bulbs powered by ballasts.

Halos are for looks only. They dont do anything else. HIDs are high powered light bulbs basically.

Hey there is there a way I can run my highs and lows at the same time. I have an 05 ram with after market lenses with highs and lows separate and am running HID's... I don't want to switch them using the regular way because the lows cut out and its really dark for a couple seconds.
