Default converted a ford guy

so i was at the club Saturday night and i guy comes up to me and says
"your the guy with the sick looking maroon dodge"
me "ya man"
him "you always beat me in my '97 teal f-150, the one with no tailgate"
me " oh ya"
him " what year is it?"
me "05"
him "I think i'm gonna buy one!"
me "nice"

thought it was kinda funny

lol i'm not very talkative in the bar to guys i don't know

i'd love a CTD but i don't need/afford a 2500 right now (even tho it gets better MPG), trying to wait for fiat to put a 5L diesel in the 1500 lol

Is this your wish about having 5l diesel on 1500 or heard something? Usually Fiat's engines are not something special but I don't know about this particular diesel engine nothing.

Ford's EcoBoost v6 truck will clean our clocks now. They're in the 14s stock, put out 420 tq and still see 22 mpg highway.

I'd take factory forced induction gas or diesel; either one would be fine.

his 97 came stock with about 260 hp at the crank....my little ole 4.7 can take that lol

Fiat make a lot of reliable diesel engines in Europe, mainly in farm equipment.

i did read dodge was thinking of doing a 5L diesel to be releases 2010-2011 but it got cancelled
