Yeah, I bought my grinder from HF and have used the chit out of it and no issues. Cost was about $20 I think and another $10 for a variety pack of discs

you would think for an item they say fits would be just a bolt on and get it aligned type thing

ok so im sending them back today. after looking closer at the way this suspension was designed i feel that the amount of material needed to be removed from the spindle to clear that sway bar is too much. i so far have been doing all my work on the right side of the truck. because of the way the ball joint is offset form the vertical line of the spindle it causes the spindle to move outward when (on the right side) turning right and inward when turning left. because of this not only would i have to clearance the spindle to fit the sway bar when in a straight position i would have to remove even more material to make a pocket in the spindle for when i turn left (on the right side) or right(on the left side).

here you can see just how much contact it makes

here is factory straight and turned to full lock

you can see just how much it moves and the amount of space that would have to be created in the new spindle

he says they fit fine whatever im sending them back and he can resell them or whatever..

on a side note doesn't every other company use fabricated spindles for this year like CST and all their knock offs. i wonder why they use cast

I wonder if it because you have an 02. I mean, lots of guys have bought, installed and use them and no issues. But at 02 is right at the that time when changes were made

that may be it. i know i have the new suspension because i have the aluminum uca and the older ones have the stamped steel one. idk if they switched half way trough the year or what.

but like i was saying every one else makes fabricated ones without the offset ball joint so who knows.. i sent them back and spent the money on this haha spindles will come down the road

So do we know whether or not these spindles will work on 06-08 trucks? I think I want to lift the front of my truck a little more and remove the coil spacer.

Umm I contacted the guy. Supposedly they are casting a new one and it will be ready in "a few weeks". I am wanting to do the same and put a 1.5 or 2 in spacer in instead of this 2.5
