08 5.7 4x4 1500, my auto 4x4 light wont go off tried switching it off and on switch to low, back up everything to do with the switch, and i just wont turn off, when i start my truck or try to turn it off it just flashes and then goes solid? any insight into this? thanks

 

I would THINK if you disconnected the switch and the lights went out, then maybe it is the switch that is causing the issue. Maybe a volt meter set fro a continuity check could verify the position(s) of the switch and help narrow down if thats the issue or not.
