yeah, but air doesn't stay put and the thickness really isn't but a fraction of a inch difference in lip size compared to the original 'hat'. but who knows, it's not like we have the equipment to properly test all these home remedies we like to conjure up...ha ha

ricer, the pcv hose on the ram 4.7 is different from the durango and is plumbed into the backside of the 'hat'. that is why I used some spare evap/pcv hose/fittings I had in my tool box to route it straight to the elbow. you can find these pieces in the evap/pcv section of the auto parts store, probably no more than a few bucks.

google airaid for the ram and check out their setup. you'll get a better idea of the concept and routing.

better yet...

Could you tell me what sizes you used. Sorry to ask every detail but I just want to be able to go to the parts store and buy everything I need. I don't have any of that kinda stuff laying around so if I could just make one trip to the parts store that would be great.

that AiRaid system goes for $150, and it does the exact same thing I did with my flex pipe for $30.

Lol I know right? After I figured this out I did the exact same thing and I was shocked at how much they want for that rubber tube. Like everything else, your only paying for the name.
