thanks, and- I bought the hood off of eBay for $399 shipped, and had a local shop match/paint it for another $250 I think it was.. I had to toss the Volant CAI and fabricate a new one for the RAM air, but I'm glad I did.. so add another $100 or so...

according to the laptop slaved to OBDII via usb, I'm running about 40 degrees cooler intake temperature.. I don't know how it knows that, unless the AIT sensor gives a reading to the PCM in degrees or something it can translate into degrees that is..

It was installed sometime in December iirc, and average temperature around here has likely been around 45~50 degrees... it gets hot in the summer, averaging around 85 I'd guess- and the RAM air should shine then.. It's said: for every ten degrees of cooler air coming into an engine, add a pony..

but hell, I just got it 'cuz it looks hot..
