My 130 watt off-roaders are wired so their relay is tripped by the fog light switch so I'm running 6 lights any time I turn mine on.
I can tell you this though, I know Pyro got nailed on his way back to Orlando from my Florida place last year by a state cop. NOW GET THIS: Cop made him take the covers out of his cab and put them on his Hellas AND NOT ONLY WERE THEY OFF AT THE TIME - IT WAS DAYTIME!!!
The cop told him it was illegal to run them on pavement uncovered and had he not had the covers with him, he'd have given him a ticket.
Stupid, huh???

I was in Ga. when I made that post, LOL. I know the fines for that county because I used to be the county technology consultant there.

Hooking the Hellas to come on with fogs is easy although I wouldnt do it. I say that because you loose control of running JUST the fogs alone unless you add a switch but then that defeats the purpose of wiring them with the fogs to turn on WITH the fogs.
Pin 30 goes to the battery directly (+) and gets a fuse
Pin 87 goes to the (+) side of the Hella lights
Pin 86 goes to ground
Pin 85 goes to the (+) side of the fog lights
So when you turn on the fogs, power goes to pin 85 which energizes the coil which in turn closes the contacts and provides 12v from the battery from pin 30 through pin 87 which goes to the Hellas
If you want that to be with the high beams then pin 85 goes to the (+) wire of the high beams
I would only run 1 pair of lights with one relay and either a 15A or 20A fuse.

This is very true, I did mine thisaway because I can only remember actually using my fog lights about three or four times when I wasn't off-road. So I just couldn't see going through wiring another switch and cutting a hole in the dash. Although I have my off-road lights on their own relay because of the amps 130 watters draw, so I am simply jumping the wire that would go to a switch on the relay to the fog light relay.
Had I had the HomeLink in my truck I would have gone to a wireless relay setup like I did in my Grand Cherokee and just programmed one of the unused HomeLink buttons.
If you use your fogs often, then do the switch, if not then just jump the wire from the relay for your off-road lights to the fog light relay. Just remember, when you hit the fog switch, both will come on everytime...
