I tried adjusting my beams last night just slightly higher than the headlights for a further projection down the road but when I began driving I could instantly tell that they were WAYYY too high. I was lighting up the tops of tree's. I guess I need to adjust them back down tonight and try again...

So I have gotten 3 PM's asking how I mounted 2 sets of the Hella's, so I thought I would snap a few photo's. First off I appologise the truck is not the cleanest after the recent snow last week and mega dump of salt on the roads. Secondly I just took these and it is dark out so I had to use a flash and a flash light for one of them to point out the bracket I made.
So here is the skibby, to mount the doubles you need to make a small bracket for the inside driver side one (shown in the pics). As far as placement for the others you will have to just do as I did, place them behind the grill but don't latch the hood. If you have thin arms you can move them back and forth and them mark them were you want them to be. Really quite easy, if you want exact measurements it will have to be another day as I am heading out after I post this. Just remember you need to wire these separately each to it's own relay or a relay that can handle the additional load or you will start a fire, however you can run them both to the same switch as long as it is the correct wattage. Just let me know if you guys need any more info on how I did this... Click the link below should take you to the photo's and use the arrow to scroll through the pics.. Happy Modding...

OK added a wiring diagram to the pictures under my shutterfly attachment below. If you wire two just add the second set and a second relay and tap into the other wires as long as you have upgraded the wire to a thicker gauge that can handle the load. The crap that comes with the lights is just ok and maxed out with 55watt bulbs in them. Go up a gauge or two especially if adding two sets or 100watt bulbs. Or you will burn up the wire. I'd show how I wired mine with pictures but then I would have to untuck and pull all the wire and pull it out into the open and that isn't going to happen sorry. Took to long to make it neat and tidy. As always hope this helps, it looks harder than it is. Just make sure your using the right stuff, if you don't know ask at your local auto parts store. This diagram is only a example and I do not take any responsibility if you try to do it yourself. If you don't know wiring, I'd suggest finding someone who does.
Or this link will take you to a page that explains electrical wire size and fuse sizes, scroll to bottom of the page.

Thanks BigHorn, glad to see you used a bracket. I could not figure out how you mounted the two lights on the drivers side with the plastic radiator supports in the way.
